I have have used these shoes about seven years and I have used them a lot. I'm trekking in alps, Dolomites and Lappland. I have used shoes all kind of trails, also demanding and steep routes like Altavia2 and some via ferratas, even if it's not exactly via ferrata shoe. Lowa Mauria supports foot and is stable. I bought second pair to drive them in just in case. The old ones are still fine. I have wide model, which is not exactly very wide, more like normal shoe. I have newer had problems with these shoes, not even bladders in foots, when shoes are new.
