The Western Mountaineering HighLite is an extremely lightweight down sleeping bag. It's perfect for any multi-day adventure. It hardly weighs a thing and is very easy to carry, so you'll still have plenty of room for your most important items.
Despite its low weight, the sleeping bag is incredibly comfortable. The bag boasts a sewn-through and baffled box construction, which not only makes for a great design but also provides a high level of comfort. The bag is filled with down for heaps of warmth. Not only will the down provide excellent insulation but it is also incredibly soft, so you'll be able to rest comfortably.
In addition to its fantastic insulating properties, down has the advantage that it is breathable as well. So, not only will a build-up of heat on the interior and excessive sweating be inhibited, but the breathability of the material will also help to prevent you getting cold as a result of excessive moisture in the sleeping bag. If you get too warm anyway, you can always use the trusty full-length zip to let some cool air in and cool off! We'll call it a manual ventilation system!
