Looking for a hardshell jacket that provides both weather protection and breathability? Look no further than the Women's Minimalist Jacket from Marmot. The outer material is made of recycled polyester and comes complete with Gore-Tex Paclite technology. The amazing thing about this technology is that the microporous membrane in the laminate prevents both wind and water getting in from the outside whilst simultaneously allowing tiny water vapour molecules on the inside to pass through to the outside. For optimal protection in the rain, all seams have been sealed with waterproof taping. Plus, the Women's Minimalist Jacket is equipped with an adjustable hood, underarm vents and a PFC-free DWR treatment (Durable Water Repellent), which forces water droplets and particles of dirt to simply roll off the face fabric. Another plus: the shoulders have been engineered with Angel Wing Movement technology, which gives you arms full mobility and prevents the hem riding up when you lift your arms. The two side pockets and elastic drawstring in the hem add the finishing touches to the lightweight Paclite jacket.
