Grivel's Shuttle is for weight misers, minimalists and pragmatists! The Shuttle is a highly versatile hybrid of descender, rigging plate and belay device. It is based on the stitch plate principle. Similar to a tuber, it uses different angles to reduce friction and increase the brake force. The great advantage of this device is its compatibility with all rope diameters, no matter if single or half rope. Therefore, the shuttle won't even let you down when your rope is frozen. The device is also suitable for big wall climbing: With its six anchor points, it allows you to organize your belay station in many different ways or to place multiple belay points. If you prefer lightweight equipment on the rock or if you think about a second device for emergencies, the Shuttle by Grivel is exactly the right thing for you!
