Tuotekuvaus
Regardless of whether you’re right- or left-handed, the Click Up + from Climbing Technology belay device set will work for you. The set consists of the Click Up + and the matching Concept SGL HC screw-gate carabiner.
The Click Up + works much like a tubular belay device but comes equipped with an assisted-braking system. If you accidentally thread the rope the wrong way round, despite the markings, the device will still function safely as a normal tubular belay device. When the climber falls the carabiner clicks up into the upper notch, adding extra friction to the rope, which makes it much easier to hold a fall. You or your climbing partner can make sure its working by listening for the clicking sound when tugging on the rope. This device makes lowering and belaying a leader or a top-roping climber super easy.
The belay/rappel device may only be used with the included HMS screw-gate carabiner from Climbing Technology, since it has the perfect diameter. Plus, the HMS carabiner features an ACL system that prevents cross-loading. The Click Up + Climbing Technology is a reinvented version of the popular Click Up with optimised geometry to make paying out rope quicker and smoother and some useful additional functions for more safety when climbing both indoors and outdoors!
