The Rab Expedition 8000 Jacket is a down jacket that is made for extremely cold conditions. The jacket features Pertex Endurance outer fabric, which is robust and wind and water resistant. The European down is contained in box-wall baffles and will provide excellent insulation. What's more, the interior is made of Pertex Quantum fabric, which is breathable and pleasant against the skin. The Nikwax-treated down will hardly absorb any moisture when it gets wet. The down-filled hood has a wired peak and can be worn over a helmet. The front zip is equipped with a wind protection flap. The Vislon zips can be opened in two different directions. There are three outside pockets and two inside mesh pockets for storing equipment. The jacket also has side ventilation openings that can be opened for some fresh air. Thanks to the reflective prints, the jacket will be visible in the dark. The elbows are articulated for better mobility. Specifically designed to meet the highest standards, the Rab Expedition 8000 Jacket is a down jacket that is perfect for polar use! A great design with an array of technical features!
