The Sir Joseph Koteka 850 is made for extreme winter touring, where every ounce of weight matters. Its minimized weight and very small packed dimensions make it the right choice of sleeping bag for fast, lightweight touring without sacrificing solid thermal capacity.
Ideal for multi-day touring at very low temperatures, for winter mountaineering or expeditions - you can trust on this high quality sleeping bag! The down filling is securely stored in box baffles, it is of top quality and has a high fill power of 800 cu in. Sir Joseph uses only goose down from cold regions in Europe. This is why the downs have a particularly high thermal capacity.
Super lightweight Softex Micro fabric is used for both the outside and the inside of the sleeping bag. This fabric weighs a mere 28 grams per square meter. For comparison: plain photocopying paper usually has a weight of 80 grams per square meter. Because of this and because no unnecessary details have been added, the Koteka 850 has a total weight of no more than 1,190 grams. Pretty impressive for a down sleeping bag with a comfort temperature of -10° Celsius!
The impressive picture is rounded off by an easily adjustable contour hood and a 2D draft collar. The collar provides a thermal chamber from your neck down to your feet - any cold draft from outside is effectively stopped from getting in.
The Sir Joseph Koteka 850 - the right choice for winter touring with a light pack!
