As the newest reincarnation of Saucony's popular Guide running shoe, the new Men's PowerGrid Guide 8 Running Shoe boasts even more flexibility and comfort than its predecessor This is sure to please previous Guide owners and instantly win over newcomers. The mesh uppers allows air to pass through to keep your feet cool, while overlays provide a stable, yet flexible feel. The newly reworked toe is made from a hot-melted film, which gives the shoe a seamless feel in the toe box. For additional comfort, the RunDry lining wicks moisture so your feet stay dry while you mob over hot pavement.
The Powergrid midsole provides a smooth and stable ride while reducing the overall weight of the shoe. Saucony decided to extend the length of the SRC Impact Zones into the midfoot for even more foot protection and then reconfigured the flex grooves along the sole for increased flexibility and better heel to toe transitions. Whether you're heavy on the heel or prone to pronation, the the co-molded heel posts with 8mm offset provideexcellent stability and control. In order to increase the longevity of the iBR+ sole, Saucony fitted the tread with an ultra-durable XT-900 carbon rubber in high-wear areas.
