Grivel - Ski Race Skimatic 2.0 with Crampon Safe S - Nousuraudat

Every gram counts when it comes down to the competition - this is when the Grivel Ski Race Crampons come into their own. Mountain sports professionals from Courmayeur have created real low weight touring crampons which are perfect for ski touring boots. Conventional crampon bindings often get in the way of fastenings on the heel of the boot. The Skimatic 2.0 System is the solution to this as it only attaches to the soles if the shoes. The straps are only mounted to the front lever so do not get in the way of the ski shoe's adjustments.
The Ski Race Crampons are made of a light aluminum, which gives them a low weight of just under 400 grams for the pair. There is a lightweight Grivel center bar and instead of an adjuster spring there is a screw and nut. This also saves valuable grams. Since you usually always go touring with the same ski shoes, you don't have to adjust the crampons as often as you do with trekking boots. Please note: the Ski Race are only for use with plastic ski touring boots and are not designed for trekking boots.
