Tuotekuvaus

Listen up all you adventurers! Climbing Technology has now introduced its soft steel zinc plated piton! The piton is best suited for use on soft rock (e.g., limestone). The soft steel has the unique ability to adapt itself to the cracks of the rock (but this can make it hard to remove). The angled head of the piton applies torque to maximise holding power. Thus, the Universal can be used for both horizontal and vertical cracks.

Important notice: the lengths 10 cm and 12 cm are UIAA certified as Progression pitons and thus should only be used for progression on the rock. Only those with a length of 15 cm are intended for use as a Safety piton.
